The Kia EV6 GT certainly changes the game for the mainstream crossover EV segment, providing all the practicality of the standard model with eye-popping performance. Drivers can also select from a number of driving modes, including the bonkers GT mode, pump in faux engine noises to the cabin if they so choose, and sit in well-bolstered sport seats while enjoying the neon green interior trim and brake calipers. Other performance enhancements include a stronger body structure, a Drift Mode for EV hooliganism, and an integrated drive axle that combines wheel bearings with the drive shaft to decrease weight. In addition to its ultra-powerful drivetrain, the GT has a sport suspension with electronically controlled dampers, a dynamic damping, an electronic limited-slip differential, upgraded braked, Z-rated Goodyear Eagle F1 tires wrapped over 21-inch alloy wheels. Though near-instantaneous acceleration accompanies almost all EVs, the EV6 GT has plenty of other kit to keep all the power planted to the road.
